So I decided to look up self-publishing ebooks, and heard enough good things to consider giving it a go despite the fuss of having to register as self-employed and see to my own taxes.

...Which has led to my brain entering procrastination mode, and my focus becoming a squirrel on caffeine: Story idea! - Legal matters! - Solitaire! - Names for characters! - Getting sidetracked looking at backgrounds of potential names for characters! - Tax stuff! - Webcomics! - Book cover advice! - Checking the market! - Getting sidetracked by the market! - Writing three words of the story! - Webcomics! - Solitaire! - Legal stuff! - Thinking that I should work on one of my WIPs for the kinkmeme! - Plotting kinkmeme fics! - Leaving the computer to go and take a walk!

I have a whole fifty-six words of the prologue written so far. Urgh. I feel like I shouldn't register as self-employed until I've written the book, and I think at this rate it will take me a good five years to write the book because my brain refuses to focus on writing. Then once I have written it, I can register, and then I can get an EIN from America (because that's where the ebook platform I've chosen is based and without it they have to take 30% of the profit for taxes). (At least the legal stuff I've been looking up was relevant.)
